Dent Sorcery LLC (“Dent Sorcery,” “we,” or “us”) uses text messaging to help you get a repair quote and coordinate your appointment. This policy explains what we send, how you opt in, how to opt out, and how we protect your mobile number. It reflects the A2P 10DLC (Application-to-Person 10-digit long-code) standards that govern business text messaging in the United States.
What we text you about
Our messages are one-to-one and tied to a repair you started with us — not marketing blasts. You may receive:
- Written price quotes based on the photos you send
- Appointment scheduling, confirmations, and reminders
- Follow-up about your vehicle and the status of your repair
- Replies to questions you text us
We do not send promotional or advertising text blasts, and we do not use text messaging for anything unrelated to your repair.
How you opt in (consent)
We only text you after you give consent. Consent is collected through a separate, unchecked checkbox on the quote form on this site — you have to select it yourself. It is never pre-checked, and opting in is not a condition of getting a quote, booking a repair, or using any of our services. You can still reach us, get a written quote, and schedule work by phone or email without agreeing to texts.
When you opt in, we record the date and time, the page you opted in from, and your opt-in status, so we can honor and verify your consent.
Message frequency
Message frequency varies — typically 1–8 messages per month during an active quote or repair, and little to none between jobs.
Message and data rates
Message & data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan. Dent Sorcery does not charge you for text messages, but your carrier’s standard rates still apply to messages you send and receive.
How to opt out or get help
Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe — you will get one confirmation and no further texts. Reply HELP for help, or call or text us at 610.533.7531. You can also email dentsorcerer@gmail.com to be removed.
Supported carriers
Our messaging works with AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, US Cellular, and other participating U.S. carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
We never share your number for marketing
No mobile information or SMS opt-in data will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Your number may only be handled by the service providers that help us run the business (for example, our messaging provider and customer-management system), and only to send the messages described above, or where required by law.
Data retention
We retain SMS consent records and related message logs for a minimum of four years to comply with A2P 10DLC and telecom recordkeeping requirements. You may request a copy of your consent record, or ask us to delete your information, by contacting us using the details below.
